Unsurprisingly, the spokeswoman referred to their software as "artificial intelligence". I doubt it but it's still impressive.

Interesting but have they managed to get them to correctly pack the eggs under a large 10lb bag of potatoes yet. :)
The narrator did mention that the robots "know" not to put heavy things on top of light things, etc. To err is robotic; to really screw things up, use a human. :)

Most all fast food should be fully automated by now as well. I'm not sure what's taking McDonald's so long to do it.
Probably because minimum-wage people are still cheaper than the capital cost + maintenance of the robot.
