Yes, simply because anything can be hacked. But I have no idea how. But I'd love to learn how to.
If he changed possible to practical the answer would be no. Claiming "anything can be hacked" is fairly nonsensical as the heat death of the universe may arrive before anyone would bother.

I think you underestimate the powers of a $1000 a night hooker. :)

:sigh: I have no knowledge of such an exotic creature.

As I understand it, you would need the private key. The perp only sends you the public key. I got the same message. I told them I would like a copy of the pictures for my album. I think the hacking into the coins for that pipeline episode involved getting someone to provide the private key.

I issued them a Cease and Desist because those pics are for sale and copyrighted :D

So She got an email this morning from a scumbag informing her that he used some vulnerability to infiltrate her machine and he has all kinds of embarrassing files that he will publish unless She pays $1600 in Bitcoin within 2 days. Of course it's a scam. She has nothing compromising on her machine, not even a camera. He claims to be watching her through her (non-existent) camera. He gave his Bitcoin wallet for the payment, which made me think: If you have a criminal element's bitcoin wallet, is it possible to hack into it and drain the contents? What do you think? Just asking for a friend!
Get me coffee and no one gets hurt!
You're not going to put fake elements on the blockchain; you'd have to scam the scammer into giving you the keys.

Given sufficient computing power and time. The key word there is sufficient. What might be sufficient could be a computer built as a Dyson sphere, powered by capturing the entire energy output of a star, running for billions of years.

You know how that would end. That monstrosity would need most of its resources to manage itself, leaving not much for any task.
I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats. His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

more than likely you don't need to hack the bitcoin wallet. Just the persons own computer where he probably stored the private key in a notepad file since he probably cannot remember it anyway.
To err is human to really elephant it up you need a computer
