So Jörgen, a couple questions: What California wines go best with gyros? Where are you surfing from right now?

Just returned from lunch. Went to my favorite gyros place. Grilled pita bread Fresh onion and tomato Creamy cucumber sauce Huge pile of gyro meat (lamb, beef, spices) *Serious Homer drool* :) But the big question is how do *you* pronounce gyro? I've heard: year-o (this is how I pronounce it) gear-o ji-row So which is it?

        1. I have no ideas. I'm afraid I've never had a gyro. I guess I'll have to try one. I'm going to see a mall in today or tomorrow.. is Gyro the kind of restaurant you'd find in a food court? 2) I'm surfing from a nice hotel in Pleasant Hill, 25-30 minutes north of (i believe) SF. -- Counting the days in the haze around you Susanne let the ether fall Out of phase, I am all around you Susanne on the wall

Actually, I say Year-O, too. Unless I'm trying to be correct then I add the little "coughing up phlegm" sound to the front of it. :) **mmmmmmmmmm** BW "I don't remember, but I know we played together because I've seen the posters." - Joe Walsh talking with Ozzy Osbourne about touring together in the 70's

Just under 30 more days till I am in the land of souvlaki, tzatziki, ouzo and original-light. *sigh* 30 days seems so long one moment and so close the next. Does anyone know what Arak is? Reading Zorba and they are always on about drinking Arak. Nothing to do with Iraq I am sure.
