booster? I am not familiar with any vaccines that have 3 shots per complete dose. My doctor said I don't need a booster right now, as I am not in the high risk list. Here in the States, booster shots are only approved for people with certain medical conditions.
I live in the States, and will get the booster shot as soon as it is available. It can't hurt (at least not for long :) )

Seriously, I've had the third vaccine, and had no more bad effects than I had the first two times - pain at the site of the injection, and tiredness the next day. The day after that I was fine.

I'm too hoping for the same as before... Decided to do it tomorrow so I will have the weekend to rest it out if needed...

Your article is out of date. The feds authorized dose 3 of Phizer and Moderna a few days later 8mo after #2. What to do for J&J recipients is IIRC still being looked at. Yes. In Israel now try to give it to anyone over 30, who got the original two at least 6 months ago... We have a very large number of infected in the last two weeks or so, but fortunately the number of seriously ill is lower - probably because of vaccine they got before...

The Shingles vaccine takes 2 shots. I forgot the second one back in Feb when I was supposed to get it. Remembered in July. Will talk to Dr about it at physical in Oct.
I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.

Well, again, my doctor has advised me to NOT get the booster yet. So, I will do what my doctor advises.

The vaccine is sounding like it would be a seasonal / yearly thing. The timing is better for everything in the fall. Syncing. Better early than late.

And how many of those infected didn't have the vaccine already? Just counting "new infected" without stating how many were previously vaccinated is fraud.
Is seems that with the variant vaccine does not prevent infection but prevents hard effects... So vaccinated or not - you get the virus...

In Canada they are giving third doses to the immuno-compromised people to help them get the same level of protection that everyone else gets from two doses. So yes, your third dose will likely improve your protection. But I would only ever suggest that people get that dose if it is doctor prescribed.

The vaccine was never intended to prevent sickness. It was intended to prevent hospitalization and death. I am sorry Israel is making everyone over 30 get a booster, that is an unnecessary shame. The science does not support such a move at this time. Kind of like New Zealand locking the country down after one case of COVID. Insanity at its finest. :sigh:
Except that where there is one case of delta, there are many....and hey, most of us here are quite OK about and agree with the lockdown. We're in it for the common good of everyone in the country and we're OK with putting our individual rights and freedoms to the side for a little while.
