I have used it to remotely help my sister. My experience with it is meh. When I go to control the remote machine, it frequently stops responding to my mouse and keyboard inputs, and I have to ask my sister to click on stuff for me.

The difficult we do right away... ...the impossible takes slightly longer.

Had been using that but need to share screen with my users to troubleshoot and train them. Also their Network security is a problem.

It is hideously expensive and I am a very small company, just me, and 2 clients left. I am winding it all down.

RealVNC is a great alternative. I have used it extensively to control remote stations and never had a problem.

I'm 72, have been doing it since 1977, and I am tired. I do custom Desktop programs for distributors. I am tired. :sigh:

Write something for yourself that you like. I liken it to whittling (with the app store in mind). In the process, I've become somewhat versed in Napoleonic battle field tactics.

How much do they charge ? I have always wondered - their software is really good. I am using the free version to remote access the server of the local school ( I am the hobby IT support there).

Look at AnyDesk. I've switched to it long time ago and never looked back.

I am 54, in a similar boat, but not winding down. I have a small number of boutique clients. If you are interested in passing this on to someone, I would love to help. I can provide you a couple of client references from clients that have been with me for 20+ years! I do use Paid TV, and I like that you HONOR the restriction on the licensing model!

Is Teams allowed to be a contender? You can do remote desktop sharing, I know it works well enough, and I'm pretty sure I've seen options to let others take over to control the system whose screen is shared. But the other person has to be there to click and approve the request; it's not one of those systems that lets you connect and control when there's nobody at the other end.

Only free for private usage, not for comercial / professional one. He needs it for the company.

Take a look SupremeViewer. This is another remote access software that I am using during the past year. It is free for personal and business use. Up to now I don't see any usage limitations.
