1. Less competition now. 2. Bobby fount a way to get more money while his company was on a decline. 3. Some of the games could be saved, because many talents were leaving the company, and now it could be stopped. Maybe.

No, I'm not kidding. I know a Canadian finance company called Blizzard and Activision vaguely makes me think of VR goggles or something. However from the discussion above I'm assuming it's a computer games company. As per a thread elsewhere in the lounge today, I don't play them (occasional sudoku and 2048 aside) so have never had any reason to come across them.
