I have decided to learn Python. Those of you that use it, did you use a book to teach yourself, and if so, which one do you recommend?

Honestly, I would search Amazon.com for their highest rated Python books...such as this one: https://www.amazon.com/Python-Crash-Course-2nd-Edition/dp/1593279280/ref=zg_bs_285856_1/131-1488667-4451959?pd_rd_i=1593279280&psc=1[^] You may also want to try online courses. I learned it from The Python Tutorial — Python 3.9.10 documentation[^]. I use VSCode as my editor and just run the tests in a Terminal window, hosted by VSCode itself.

                    Nobody expected that.

I have lived with several Zen masters - all of them were cats. His last invention was an evil Lasagna. It didn't kill anyone, and it actually tasted pretty good.

The Python official documentation is quite good, start from the Tutorial though - it's not a tutorial at all, it's the guide reorganized logically. I am learning Python too.

Not specifically about Python, but I found a mixture of Stackoverflow & reference documentation to generally be the best way to learn stuff.
