Yeah, :(( About two days ago I noticed that he was lethargic and having trouble breathing. We went out and picked up some medications and I thought he was improving. But unfortunately today around noon he passed. We loved him very much. Just wanted to tell someone, thanks for listening.

I would tell you the same as I told to my mother, when her dog gone - pick a new one as soon as you can...

They leave a huge hole in the home when they pass, don't they? My sincere condolences to you and yours ... remember the good times you had. :rose:

Thanks, I am grateful that I was able to spend some quality time with him before he passed.

I'm looking online at these Dutch Shepherds[^]. But it's a bit too soon to make a decision. I'll need some time to think about it.

          Sorry to hear this

My condolences :rose: It's hard to process the loss of a loved one. Take your time to grieve but also remember the good times you shared.

My condolences. :rose::rose::rose: I know how hard it is, as last year, my Westie got to the point that he could no longer walk and stopped eating. I had to take him to the vet and have him euthanized. I too, cried all the way home. My wife and I have not gotten another dog yet as we have yet to get over his passing.

It's hard losing a friend, especially a faithful friend they're so hard to find. I was ra9ised around GS and they are an awesome breed.

That is a bummer. Condolences. That is the problem with pets, we outlive them.

I know your pain. So very sorry for the loss of your 4 legged buddy. :rose::rose:

I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated.

I'm really sorry, Randor :rose:. The last few days have been tough in that regard. My daughter and son-in-law lost Mister Bear, their Pitt bull terrier / Boxer mix, last Friday.
