This is Angzarr: ⍼ Unicode character U+237C to be precise, and nobody seems to know what it represents, but it's in every implementation of Unicode: so it'll work on your PC, Mac, iPhone, Android phone, and probably under LCARS as well. Probably, it did have a meaning to someone, but nobody knows who, or what: U+237C ⍼ RIGHT ANGLE WITH DOWNWARDS ZIGZAG ARROW · Jonathan Chan[^] So we're bright enough people, why don't we come up with one and use it? "Hurry to the start button" perhaps? Or "Caution: electric graph"? Over to you, folks.

                    The so-called angzarr character has its origins from a full-color picture (converted to monochrome) that is a 2-D representation of a 3-D projection from a 4-D visualization of a 5-D manifold partway through a rotation around the aleph axis in 6-space. Simple, really, and very nicely done.

                            Except Angzarr was added in the 90's, and Ellis was developed in the Noughties. :-D
