If you want a film with comedy, tragedy and some romantic weepy moments then my favourite is Shakespeare in Love :) For SciFi with a large dose of dark humour, Dark Star. An oldie, difficult to get but amazing  Or maybe you could tell us what kind of films you prefer ? Elaine :rose: The tigress is here :-D

Trollslayer wrote: what kind of films you prefer Difficult one  I don't really know what genre I enjoy most, but a few titles I enjoyed were the Matrix, most James Bond films (especially the old ones), Charlie's Angels :-D, Gone in 60 Seconds, Fast & the Furious... that sorta thing Paul ;) Computers let you make more mistakes than any other invention in history....with the possible exception of handguns and tequila.

Hmm. Well, how about: Flash Gordon (80's camp SF cheesyness in the extreme, plus Queen soundtrack) Pi (completely nuts maths arthouse film) Princess Mononoke (superb anime, with a good English dub) Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (watch the sub-titled version) -- Ian Darling

Real Genius - Val Kilmer Older movie about a bunch of geeks at a very prestigious college who unknowingly create a super weapon in the lab. Ridiculously funny.

Robert Prescott as Kent Torokvei: You are just a bunch of degenerates.
Val Kilmer as Chris Knight: We are, but what about that time I found you naked with a bowl of jell-o?
          Kent: You did not.
          Chris: This is true.
Kent: I was hot and I was hungry, okay?

You can listen to a few more quotes here[^]. Enjoy! -Mike Zinni "No shit it's tough. If it wasn't, everybody and their sister would be an engineer and then you wouldn't have a job."

O, Brother where art thou? an American backwoods take of the odyssey. A fun watch, and some great music too. Pulp Fiction A great flick on the seedy underbelly. I've just been in the mood for this one lately.
