That's the kind of the moments when one says: GO TO :ELEPHANT:ING HELL, MURPHY (I know what that is...) I wish you all the best. Take care of you. P.S. I gave you the  because you said it was pancreas, not hepatorenal  ;P :-D

I'm actually allowed to eat and drink what I want. The doc told me I have to find out for myself what works and what doesn't.

Nah, I just had to make a code change in a VB6 project.

It sounds like you've been through the wars. I hope you're feeling better now.

Well, they let me go home. The only values that are not normal yet is CRP which is only at 15 times normal now. Used to be through the roof.

Still tempted to exchange with you. :) Seriously though, get well soon !!

Ow! You poor sod - get well soon! :rose: I hate morphine though - it messes with my short term memory for a few weeks after I have it, so it's like a jab of "Instant Alzheimer's" for me. That's probably genetic: my mother had the same problem when she broke her wrist.

Short term memory, hallucinations and pain. Took me a bit to long to realize that it gave me pain though. :~

Just home after two weeks at the hospital. Got a gallstone that was painful enough that I had to go to the emergency room. Turned out it didn't plug the gall bladder, but rather the whole bile duct, aka cholestasis which leads to jaundice, which I can assure is also unpleasant. So, I got scheduled for a double surgery. One part was the removal of the gall bladder, the other part was a gastroscopy where they "chimney sweep" the bile duct for stones. That gastroscopy part isn't exactly standard routine, but you're normally going home after two days. But in my case I got contrast fluid up the wrong way to the pancreas, which doesn't like that at all. So add pancreatitis to the rest of the list of ailments. Any way to top that off properly? You bet! It turns out that I'm hypersensitive to morphine as well. I mean, what the actual fuck!

My wife is on morphine too, and she probably needs a hip replacement. On the positive side she has lost her appetite and already lost 5 Kg weight.

My wife is seeing a neurologist and recently started a new drug regimen. One of the potential side effects is hallucinations. We were driving the other day.. She was alarmed that there was something in the road in front of us. She looked again, squinted, and realized it was just a car. We both had a great laugh. Hope your recovery goes well and quickly.

You might have caught COVID-19 while in the hospital. That would have topped it off!
- I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.
It would indeed. :) But I had it this winter, so I don't expect to get it again soon.

Never had a wordle streak. I have the wrong approach for that. :) I've built a statistic database for the purpose of finding the most efficient way to find the words fast, and sometimes it fails miserably, as it should when you experiment. :-D At the moment I'm trying to find where to swap between methods. (Purely frequency based to letter pair position frequency)

I can confirm that pancreatitis is extremely efficient as well. Like 0.5 - 1 % per day or so.

Don't tell it too loud... just in case (I know a couple of people that had it twice within 4 months)

I have no reaction to morphine. No pain relief, no sedation, nothing. When I complained I was told I was given the maximum dose. Doc said it's some sort of reverse allergic reaction.?? My sister told me my father also had the same response so it's genetic for me, but she has normal reaction. Go figure.

Had the exact opposite reaction. When i got a shot it took a few minutes before the world exploded in in pain. Not having a clue what was happening I obviously asked for pain relief... Sigh! I learned after a while that when the levels went up it gave me pain, and when the levels where stable or going down it actually had the supposed effect. For me it just wasn't worth it.

Judging from your story, the most efficient way is to do it yourself (I get quite a few streaks) :~
