    Wordle 408 4/6 ⬜⬜🟩⬜⬜ 🟨🟨🟩⬜⬜ 🟨⬜🟩⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming “Wow! What a Ride!" - Hunter S Thompson - RIP

A lot of it is down to the "starter word" - I use one with three vowels and two "common" consonants.: "A", "E", and "I"; "N" and "T" or "A", "E", and "O"; "R" and "S" because they are high in letter frequency lists. (To avoid spoilers I won't say which I used today!) That generally tells you a lot about the word, and very often picks out multiple letters. Even if it doesn't, the elimination of "common" vowels and consonants reduces the "possible target" word count significantly! I don't know what starter word(s) you are using, but it's worth considering a change. :-D

I usually use 'above' as the starter. Mostly it eliminates more than giving me hits :)

Try "AROSE": it's got three "high" vowels and two "high" consonants, so it should get better results than anything with a "B" and a "V" in it - both of which are low frequency letters in English (particularly 5 letter words) I have been using "TINEA" (a fungal infection) but am considering changing as the odds should be better of getting "AROSE" as a low attempt hit. :-D Half the fun for me is in refining the strategy!
