    Cake? what's that?

I can't tell - I am confused ... The local dialect around here calls 'a slice of bread' what by standard Norwegian is 'a slice of cake'. This goes for dark, whole-grain bread as well. A 'cake' is called a 'bread'; biscuits - at least some types - may also be called 'bread' (or 'coffee bread'). But if you put a heavy frosting on the cake, or fill it with whipped cream and fruit, then it is no longer a bread, but a 'cake'.

By now I've lived longer with Google than without :omg: But give it a few years and I won't remember either
