    When making ice cream, ensure that you seat the churn paddle properly, or indeed at all. The result if you don't is a frozen shell of crud with a liquid centre ... :doh: It's going to be one of those days, I can tell.

      Much the same - but also much worse when you come to clean up afterwards - as forgetting the paddle in a bread machine. At least you can just let the crud melt and tip it all away. What do you do with a solid biscuit welded to the sides of the pan?

        Had that happen once. Filled the "pan" with water, let it soak for several hours, bread rinsed right out.
