Is there some word that you have to type frequently that you just can't seem to do on the first try? For me, it seems to be microsost... microsfot... that company in Redmond. Good thing I don't have to type it often. :sigh: :sigh:

Frequently, I try to write FORM and end writing FROM

Most are in SQL: SELECT => SEELECT, SELLECT FROM => FORM WHERE => WERE, WEHRE DELETE => DELLETE, DELETTE Maybe it is because I hate SQL, but have to use it every day. Too bad SQL Server Management Studio doesn't have auto correct.

Gerp! Many years ago a colleague and I wrote a shell around grep that took the output and fed it to a macro in brief which set up all the matches as search points, and we called it gerp - so you would gerp a file and brief would pop up and you could then next/prev to all the matches.

I have to logon to onmicrosoft.com every time I debug, to get to the secret keys, so I have finally got micorsfot.com down pat.

"The" - but that's a feature, it's in my bio. Also anything ending in "ing" tends to be typed wrong.

but in your response you got both "anything" and "ending" correct. Kudos!

 Indeed! When I switch keyboards, all bets are off (and the backspace key gets a helluva good workout).

Not much problems with typing, but a real tongue twister for me is: Redistributables :-\
That's because you are THINKING: Redis - Tributables which is un-pronounceable on the first attempt! LOL

- th e~~~ - part of the current word and part of the next - slipped into the queue Then, I got a clicky-clacky keyboard. I learned quickly which flingers dangle. And now, ServiceNow has some key buffering in their memo fields that mangle text and curser position. (they move the cursor and make a curser out of me.)

Probably 70%-80% of the time, I am typing "falg" instead of "flag". Is happening this way pretty much for 45 years, and it is a word, specially when working in assembler, that is very frequently used...
