    Engadget[^]:

The new Teams (free) tier will require a new account. Data in the old app, now rebadged as Teams Free (classic), will be deleted. Anything you haven't saved by then will be gone, including shared files you haven't downloaded.

Because there's no 'free' in Teams

If something is for free, you are the product. Corollary: Only because you pay for a service, it doesn't mean, you are not the product anymore.

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

So that people will stop using them? :)
