**"How it goes" would be expected from an American resident; "How goes it" from a Dutch resident, as it is word-by-word translation. I managed to piss off less people last year than the previous one, so that's a win :)

In TX it's "How's it going?", reply: "Going." .... implies OK "How ya doing?", reply: "Doing." ... implies OK

Thank you, sir. Appreciate the compliment. Good Tex-Mex too. You don't have to die to visit. Except in middle of summer. Then it is hot as hell.

It is 11 hours by airplane. I'm hoping to find someone who moved from there to here and opened a BBQ restaurant :D

BBQ place near you. Not sure of quality, but hard to beat TX BBQ Beef & Meat – Grill & BBQ Ranch Werl[^] utility bill in winter last month was $130 close to max Peak utility bill in summer is $300+ So yes, less money for heating.

In TX, we pay about ~$3.00 USD a gallon (a little under national average) or $.85 USD per liter compared to $2.12 USD per liter in Netherlands. So yes, you pay more to travel by auto. If I did the math right
