Where is it Chris ?

Chris, in the previous posts, you were suggested to create a forum for scripting languages and you said okay. When i go to the programming forums and i don't see it there ? Will this process take long ?

My guess is that seeing its the weekend he is having a well deserved break. I'd also be very surprised if this is high on Chris's priority list. You really shouldn't have too much trouble finding forums for scripting languages on other sites, which are dedicated to such things. Even if Chris does put a forum up here, that doesn't mean any one will use it. CP is above all a C++ site, try and remember that. Neville Franks, Author of ED for Windows. Hey, easy now. I guess that Chris needs to sleep sometimes, and he have a huge todo-list. The new forum might not be at the top of that list. If I know Chris right, he always do what he says he will do :) Come on man... It's a free site, I guess you can wait more that a couple of hours! - Anders Money talks, but all mine ever says is "Goodbye!"

How about a please or a thanks? It's Sunday morning, it's a beautiful day (apart from the showers and high winds), so I'm gonna kick back, have a long lazy breakfast, then decide whether there is anything earth shattering that needs to be done, or whether I can take a whole day off this weekend ;) cheers, Chris Maunder (CodeProject)

Hi Chris, I hope you did have the day off. I guess you work from home like I do, and it can be damn tough leaving the office.:( Disconnecting from that 24x7 Net connection might help.;) FYI The weather down in Melbourne today was crap, but we still got out and had a enjoyable Barbie with friends in the hills. Actually I topped off a weekend working on the forums by, well, working on the forums. Task of the day was: a) fix the problem where 2 threads get intermixed. b) Provide a viewing mode that will have only the current thread expanded, and all other threads collapsed. This will help the problem of threads disappearing off the page too quickly, and will also allow me to add a mode where the thread most recently added to will bubble to the top. 1) is done, 2) needs testing and optimisation (or a faster pooter) It's kinda hard to call this work though - it's too much fun ;) Working from home is weird though. My office is one big black hole whose gravitational well none can escape from. Even wandering near my office finds me in a doomed spiral of despair as I find myself drawn inexorably to my desk. NOOOooooooooooooooooo........... Was blustery and a little so-so today. Heard they had 25cm of snow in the snowies. My snowboard sat inside all day giving me hopeful looks. sigh... cheers, Chris Maunder (CodeProject)
