Just yesterday I watched a YouTube vlog by an Aussie who said his razor was dull, I may need to go back and watch it again.
I made a typo in the original post btw... it should be
rise up lights

If you say
rise up lights
out loud, it sounds like you're sayingrazor blades
with an Australian accent. Edit: Um... I made a typo and then went into a meeting. WhoopsJeremy Falcon
"rise up lights" "razor blades with an Australian accent" Not even similar.

I made a typo. You have to say the correct words out loud. Typo is fixed now. Unless you're suggesting you don't find every one of my posts delightful, entertaining, and exciting? :omg:

Who do you expect me to believe, the Internet or an actual Aussie? It's a joke everyone.

Yeah, it's a just play on the stereotypical accent. I'm sure there are differences in real life. Like, not everyone in the southern US has a deep twang in their accent.

Very much so. Also, the slang is the same yet different. For instance, Outback and Northern Queenslanders tend to join multiple words into one. eg: Waddaya think? = What do you think?
