This mysterious service is back in operation for me again. I had my preferences set to receive it but it generally sputters out after about 9 months to a year. Then just stops. Then starts, then stops. Just started receiving the email again. Just one of those grand mysteries of life, I guess.
I think I've missed some or had them arrive much later in the day some days than usual, but it hasn't been on the regular. More like one here or there.

Well, if it is any consolation, I'm stuck for weeks now on a H264 stream issue from a Hikvision DVR.

Groucho has since annexed my lap, and is purring so I don't have the heart to kick him off my lap yet. He'll get grouchy with me in about 30 minutes and get down. He always does. :laugh:

Sounds like me. Our Aimee likes making biscuits, and my lap is her preferred kitchen.

Sorry, but this sounds like an issue with your email delivery. Perhaps something to do with their spam/junk mail filtering? I get the newsletter and Insider like clockwork, and forum reply messages pretty quickly.

delete this;Thanks, Probably something with my email delivery. I checked the spam folder and it was not in there. If it is getting rejected (bounced by the email provider) I won't see it. But all my other emails seem to be arriving ok. Just wanted to see if anyone else experienced unexplained outages.

This is likely to be the culprit. Some of them are rather aggressive, then boast none of their customers receive spam. But they never mention they go too far in the other direction. Does that provider by any chance have a name that starts with "G"...?

No, It's RCN or rather now it is Astound Broadband "powered by RCN".
