TIOBE Index predicts C# as 2023 'Language of the Year' after 2022 near-miss

Microsoft's C# programming language led the race to be named "programming language of the year" for 2022 by the TIOBE Index before being overtaken at the very end, but it's expected to attain the throne this year.
When the runner up is Fortran, you know they use a well-designed accurate selection criteria

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

TIOBE jokes aside, my feeling is that C# usage is fading. It was as its peak around 2010, but nowadays with everything moving to the cloud I just don't see it around. The last time I did anything in C# was in 2012...
