I went to Randor[^] but it said it was unable to load the requested member's information. I ask because I know he's a Microsoftie and I'm having a gnarly issue with a driver. His posts seemed to indicate that he knew a great deal, so I thought I'd try summoning him in my post in the Hardware forum. :( Is there anyone else who could help with a driver signing issue?

I get "This account has been closed" - [Member Profile - Randor (273597)](https://www.codeproject.com/script/Membership/View.aspx?mid=273597). He came close to closing it in the past a couple times because he doesn't like conflict.

On a related note, am also missing the wise words of @BillWoodruff for a few days now. Any news about him?

That's weird, because I'd say that this place is one of the friendlier online hangouts.

I've also been wondering if he's OK.

AFAIK, he closed his account due to some situations he didn't like. You are right, CP is one of the most friendly sites I know, but it still has its own problems, its own trolls and its own dynamics... Some people are more sensitive to some exernal impulses than others or their principles are more rigid than others. I can't tell what was exactly what made him leave CP, I miss him too, he is / was a really good professional.

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

He is old enough to expect bad news, in case we would ever get them.

Puke is a pejorative for a low level soldier, kinda like a Grunt.

I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated. I’m begging you for the benefit of everyone, don’t be STUPID.
