Sounds like Captain Stillman in "Stripes". "Coordinates? Just fire that weapon, soldier." (I liked Quantum Leap.)

Well, isn't that exactly what we do? :-) (The Boss could have been more specific: Type the correct code. We may consider that implicit.)

Watching "Die Hard" (first one, but others are good too) another great movie. Crocodile Dundee is also a favorite. Watched it last night.

I was watching season 2 episode 12 of Quantum Leap and I heard the this exchange : Programmer : I am trying to make this code work. Boss : Just type it in and press enter. I burst out laughing. How many of you have had that boss?

How *does* Quantum Leap hold up? I know it's a bit of a cult classic (and that some people would take offense at merely calling it a "bit"), but I've never watched it...and wondering if it's still worth a watch in 2024... I was still a kid/preteen in the 80s, and have long concluded some shows--no matter how big a hit they were back then--have aged gracefully...others...not so much.

When I binged it all a few years back some seemed to be missing.
