I just got an email that something is arriving for me tomorrow via UPS. I don't recall ordering anything. I love gifts to me. I hope it's something neat. Seriously, I actually love it when this happens. Or when I order something from China and it takes so long to arrive I totally forget about it. I got a big box of lilygo gadgets that way once. It was like Christmas.

Even better; one time I ordered 5 - 12V 3A power supplies, got my order and about 3 days later I got 5 more. Christmas

I got a case of bottled oil for my paper shredder. Probably 6-12 bottles in a case. One bottle probably lasts 10 years. I only got charged for the one bottle. I didn't trust that those bottles (the actual plastic) was going to last decades so I just returned it.

Buying the same tech book (same edition) a second time, after a couple of years, is equal fun. Has happened to me once, about 10 years ago.

One of the things I packed when I left my homeland in 1969 as "political refugee " was pair of surgical grade "serrated" stainless steel tweezers ... Do not ask me why. I think I have donated them to restore WWII emergency set known as

PS If your tweezers are not "serrated" don't bother...

Stamp tweezers are not serrated. You don't want to damage the stamps.

The other day a large drill bit for sheet metal was delivered to me. It ways about 2 lbs, and I will don't know why I got it. :) My house lives in Amazon prime (reminds me, starting to get a little warm here in Atlanta, so time to put a cooler outside for all the delivery people). At any given time, there will be anywhere from 1-6 boxes on my porch. The box of dog food sat out there for 3 days (family spat, they aren't my dogs). The good news is that my house is a good 15 feet above the road, so you really cannot see the packages from the road. We don't have much in the way of package thievery, but I suppose it does happen and will likely increase as the area changes.

Serrations don't do any good when your hand-placing very tiny parts for soldering.
