I can only find it on Prime at the moment. :)

Hi All, Back in the day there was a film Short Circuit with a Robot (called Johnny 5) who I think came out with the phrase "No Disassemble!" For the current project I am working on a gif of that scene (if I remember it right) would be suitable for my main project at the moment. Glenn ;P

I dumped Sky at the start of the year and went to EE: moved my broadband, landline, and TV provider all together and it worked out about 50% of the same price from Sky. I still get some Sky channels via Now included and best of all it's totally streamed instead of satellite - which means weather / trees don't affect it in the least. Most of the TV content is still repeats of repeats of repeated garbage, but ... it's cheaper repeats of repeats of repeated garbage! Oh, and thanks to the new router all my landline calls are now VOIP instead of analog ready for the PSTN switch off at the end of this year.

Really? Is that in all of GB, or only in your region? Is that a single large phone company who keeps going with mobile networks and internet, or are you offering early retirement to a number of small POTS only phone companies? Do you still have landlines, but digital? ISDN? ISDN was the best phone system there ever was! IP phone has far too much latency and processing artifacts. (Do they still compress? If they do: Compressing a 64 kbps stream on a 100 Mbps fiber is rather crazy. An attempt to increase latency even more?)

Whole of the UK (and ISDN goes with it) - but it's been delayed to 31st Dec 2025 now, it seems: The PSTN and ISDN switch-off: what it means for you | BT Business[^] My home phones no longer connect directly to the master socket - the router does and the phones connect to that. Works fine with no noticeable lag, and I'm on fibre-to-cabinet, so only 40Mb/s
