I got an old chart and need to scan it into a scanner. the chart size is in 11" by 15" size paper. any good scanner to recommend? at this time I try to find something on eBay.com. Thanks in advance for your help.

My HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 says it will do 11x17.

Can a mobile scanner app be used for this? A reasonably good mobile camera can give quite a good scan. And most scanner apps can correct minor (camera, angle) misalignments so as to give a rectangular image saved as a PDF file. I'm talking of free scanner apps. Priced ones may be even better.

If you have an A4 scanner available, scan the document in two overlapping parts and then use something like Hugin to stitch them together (Just Google for Hugin)

Iris has two scanners which are basically hi-res cameras w a small light. https://www.irislink.com. They sit on a table or desk w a delineated black mat as the scanning surface. Scanning a double-page magazine takes a few seconds.

Here in the office of one of my clients (Architect), we are using an 11x17 All-In-One printer, Brother MFC6545DW, that works just peachy fine, with a rather low price tag. Only downside is that Brother is no longer producing this printer and I have not checked what they offer as replacement. That AIO was less than half the price of a standalone (networked) scanner we were trying to replace about 3 years ago....
