Oak Tree about 2' in diameter and about 60' tall. And the bitch is that it fell back towards a creek in our back yard so some of it will be tricky to get out. That and I can only work a short time in the morning as its 80 degrees with feels like in the 90s. I'm too old for this shit!

Ouch! Of course, my pity is abated somewhat by it being 120°+ here this week. Still, standing in front of a casino Thursday in this heat, watching fireworks over the Colorado River, is something I'd rather be doing than trimming a giant oak tree, in any temperature! Go slow, and take frequent breaks, Mike!

Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate... I remember growing up in Phoenix, there was a week where it was 120+ and all we had was a swamp cooler. It was hot, damn hot.

The real question is "did it make a sound when it fell?"

I wasn't there to hear it, so the question still remains.

We don't burn wood to heat but we have a friend that does and we have given her so much wood that her and her brother are set for several years.
