TOKYO (AP) - It may have been inevitable. Now that cell phones with little digital cameras have spread throughout Asia, so have new brands of misbehavior. Some people are secretly taking photos up women's skirts and down into bathroom stalls. Others are avoiding buying books and magazines by snapping free shots of desired pages. "The problem with a new technology is that society has yet to come up with a common understanding about appropriate behavior," said Mizuko Ito, an expert on mobile phone culture at Keio University in Tokyo. Camera-equipped cell phones spread new brands of mischief[^] Argh!! The wonders of technology...

For text, it would be hard to use the camera to steal works. The resolution is just too poor. Tim Smith I'm going to patent thought. I have yet to see any prior art.

I find current mobile phone cameras absolutely useless almost for any purpose - the resolution is just too poor. None of the people I know who bought such cameras still use it. Вагиф Абилов MCP (Visual C++) Oslo, Norway Hex is for sissies. Real men use binary. And the most hardcore types use only zeros - uppercase zeros and lowercase zeros. Tomasz Sowinski

Excellent, Marc. You got my 5. OT: I also see you've changed your sig. Does that mean you don't believe you're an AI any more? :-D And I really liked CG's quote in your sig. Celebrate differences!

This is old news - newer models of these phones now have to make a noise when a picture is taken - thus warning any unsuspecting victims!

We have the pr0n industry to thank for resolving the VHS/Beta problem--VHS is cheaper and lower quality, so the flicks are inexpensive and look even seedier! Marc Every line of code is a liability - Taka Muraoka
