Greetings Kind Regards I sent an email (or is it e-mail my personal preference) via gmail in which I made reference to a particular auto I drove many years ago. A few hours later on the MSN news site an advertisement for the same auto make was presented. It was accompanied w/ an image. The image was of the same model to which I made reference even approximately the same year even though it was several decades ago which could have been roughly calculated from the e-mail discussion even the same color to which I made only indirect reference as it appeared in a film.

I know the "read each others' mail" references. I was being sarcastic about the (null set?) intersection of "gmail" and "gentlemen".

Thank you for your kind exposition. Upon consideration I am not certain the intersection of which you speak is a null set as Google employs many presumed gentlemen. Perhaps the intersection is self disqualifying as "gentlemen" do not read each other's mail which proves your assertion.

They don't use gentlemen; they use ladies. :) But yes. Anything sent via Gmail get fed into Google's tracking data. Remember - if you're not paying for a product, you are the product.

They've apparently improved their algorithm : last time I sent email talking about sun cream and got ads for cups of strawberries with whipped cream).

Shoot, we can't even think something and social media is on it (or so it would seem).
