I notice the latest update email has the links coded differently to before and being naturally suspicious I wondered why? Previously links were direct to codeproject.com the latest links are https://apps.developermedia.com/...

DeveloperMedia is a business unit of CodeProject Solutions and handles (and has for years) all the emails for CodeProject and related sites. We made a change last week to simplify the link handling because it was all over the shop and it was difficult to track. It's all still us!

What are actually all the Code Project (as a company) activities, if I am allowed to ask ? I've been here since almost the very beginning (who remembers the Great Database Catastrophe :-D ? ), and have since then always assumed that CodeProject is "just" a mega-cool website funded by ads - like the naive person I am and who never notices how fast time flies. But surely you've grown this to a multi-field business in the last 24 years...

CodeProject Solutions is a group of businesses that compliment each other: CodeProject.com - this website. CodeProject.AI - our AI server product we produce to help developers integrate AI into their apps easily ContentLab - A Content Marketing agency that helps companies create content for technical audiences (We got tired of seeing the drivel out there so started helping companies do it right) DeveloperMedia - A media agency that handles all the advertising and newsletters. We're in the process of rebranding this to ContentLab Amplify There's a couple of other Skunkworks things, and small projects we started such as Ref.CodeProject.com and rootadmin.com that we never had the time to fully finish. We also own the ASPAlliance.com, Devmavens.com and HTML.net, though these are essentially archived.

Surely you meant 'complement' not 'compliment'?

Was ASPAliance ever a big thing? I ask because I'm sure I've written paid articles for that site in the past. Just rings a bell with me somewhere.

Developer Media is one of Codeproject's affiliated companies, like Content Lab. I wouldn't worry about it. They probably just had Content Lab or someone generate the newsletter. I've done work for Content Lab. They are legit.

Yea, I seem to recall at the time. Can't remember what I wrote though, and my own archives don't appear to have anything in them. :-) Definitely very familiar though.

I maybe asking something which is off topic. I have been a publisher at DeveloperMedia aka LakeQuincyMedia from it’s inception. Last few months there have been no ad impressions at all. Have you only opted for email marketing via codeproject? Or is there any revamping happening?
