...aaaand Futurama is back on again

Yes, that [Futurama](https://www.epguides.com/futurama/), the show they just couldn't keep down despite its horrible treatment by Fox. It's on Hulu now. For another batch of 10 episodes or so, is my understanding. In terms of TV production, we sure live in interesting times. Before streaming, once a show got cancelled, it was just unthinkable it'd ever come back. What other show do you think met its demise too soon and deserves a comeback? Personally I was thinking Firefly, but the movie put the kibosh on the whole storyline that had been planned to stretch things out into multiple seasons, so frankly I'd rather not have it come back and then watch the story getting fundamentally changed...

No, they stopped after book 6 of 9. There should be a thirty year gap between books 6 and 7, but that's not insurmountable I'd have thought. Amazon managed to retrospectively kill off one of the major characters in the final episode just after they finished filming a whole season so they didn't have to use the actor again in the next series so a little extra make up and Robert is your Mother's Brother. [edit] They left a huge pile of foreshadowing for series 7, 8, and 9 in there as well. [/edit]

Well, I'm sure they won't do the same thing for "The Captive's War[^]"! :sigh:

What annoys me the most is that they charge £13 for the Kindle edition and £9 for the paperback.

Yeah. I thought the whole idea was: "It's electronic, there are no paper or shipping costs so Kindle will be much cheaper."
