I know there's a few BC users around here. So... Just found this out yesterday during a fresh install, but BC5 is finally out of beta. I'm not affiliated. This ain't no ad. I'm not providing a link. If you use it, you can figure out how to get the new version.

I use it, but I will stay with the 4.xx thatI have until they go official release. Forget it... I understood the message totally wrong

M.D.V. ;) If something has a solution... Why do we have to worry about?. If it has no solution... For what reason do we have to worry about? Help me to understand what I'm saying, and I'll explain it better to you Rating helpful answers is nice, but saying thanks can be even nicer.

"Out of beta" does means "not beta" in my native language...

Probably one of my most used apps, besides vscode. Thanks for the heads up!

For anyone who's using it, any noticeable difference from BC4? I have my (personal) lifetime license and I'd like to know if I have reasons to pay out of my own pocket to update it

I only installed it yesterday, so haven't got a good chance to use 5 much. The first thing I noticed though is the dark mode. Which, while may seem silly... dark mode is noice IMO. Here's the [change log](https://www.scootersoftware.com/download/v5changelog). I also have a lifetime BC4 license, but for me... for software I think is great I was personally happy to buy a BC5 one. I give the company behind it a bit more money and everyone's a winner. I do the same with Sublime Text.

This might be a better link for the changes... [Clickety](https://www.scootersoftware.com/download/v5whatsnew) IMO dark mode is the big one for me.

I saw that upgrading the license from BC4 to BC5 yields 35$ of discount so going from BC4 pro to BC5 standard is free. I updated to BC5 pro anyway just to make full use of the new features including table diffs (I had an old version of BC4 and usually don't have admin rights so updating is not possible, it is not a company issued tool).
