I used to think there was no state other than unconsciousness in which I couldn't code. I was wrong. COVID has laid me right up in that respect. :sigh: Update: Was up and down all night. Actually fell asleep in the friggin bathtub. Since I am bored and I don't have any energy to do things like housework I decided to try my hand at coding again. I managed to update some makefiles and massage enough code to get it working with MSVC as well as GCC. It's slow going but I'm doing it!

:rose: Yeah, I found the same. Get well soon, drink loads of fluids, stay warm and (probably) in bed. Sleeping seemed to help. It can also attack your haemoglobin leading it to be worse in transporting oxygen, and this can last for weeks after the disease is gone. If you get that, you'll know - your stamina will plummet, and the effort of thinking hard (which coding requires) will give you a headache because it increases the O2 requirement of the brain. If you get that, stop! If you try to "think through" it, you can kill off brain cells and you really don't want that! And just to be entertaining, about 25% of covid suffers experience hair loss - mine came out in handfuls every time I showered for weeks after and even three years later it's still growing back in ...

First, get better. Second, get tested so you can get the proper care and not waste time, effort, and money on the wrong care. A lot of people claim they have COVID but never got tested. RSV and other respiratory ailments have similar symptoms but the treatments are different.

I wasn't tested but my hubby was. He caught it. I have the same symptoms, so I'm assuming COVID until I have reason not to.

But what about our mantra in college, "Alcohol kills germs."?

I’ve given up trying to be calm. However, I am open to feeling slightly less agitated. I’m begging you for the benefit of everyone, don’t be STUPID.

My niece told me that UV and Alcohol kill the virus, so we might find her in her back yard naked and drunk.

COVID's a bear. I couldn't work at all for a week or so due to the fatigue and the coughing jags. After that I wasn't back to working full time for almost a month. I hope you and your husband get to feeling better :rose:.

I got Paxlovid and it actually seemed to help a lot with the stamina levels.

                            - I would love to change the world, but they won’t give me the source code.
