Romantic weekend

TBH you're wrong. I feel bad for you. I bet my computers cost more than yours... I'm gonna talk abut that now and feel bad for you if you don't have expensive computers. And yes, I'm using PCs as an example in hopes you see it, but I have my doubts.

I am sorry you feel bad that I am in love. That was not my intention. And probably, my main PC now is a Mac Book Air I bought to complete an iOS project. My other computer cost $5k about five years ago and is falling apart. I only keep it because getting my Android phone to talk to my Mac is a bitch.

So my marriage of 30 years ended with my ex demanding an open marriage, cheating on me, and generally treating me like garbage. I dipped my toes in the dating waters and met lots of nice people and quite quickly, my new partner. We've lived together six months now We are in Melbourne but I moved back from Tasmania. We've had a Hobart trip and on the weekend went to Cradle Mountain. I bought a romance package that included a dinner, breakfasts and a spa treatment that was an hour massage and 90 in in a room with a sauna and a spa bath that was exposed on the corner and open into the forest. It was amazing. My day to day life with this woman is incredible and the odd weekend like this just feels like heaven. She often says she doesn't understand how any woman left me, but we are glad she did
:cool:Good fer you, man!
The difficult we do right away... ...the impossible takes slightly longer.

Yeah so my ex always told me all women would hate me. I put myself out there to go along and expected nothing. I met someone and we had kind of a one night stand (I couldn't go through with it) and then became friends. Context made it dating but we never kissed even, we just talked a lot and I looked for a friend when my heart was breaking. But things started to shift and she noticed that. It was all very complicated and yes, none of it was my choice. I was never nailing two chicks LOL.
I've also been in a relationship that was that dysfunctional Christian... where I couldn't go through with nailing the other chick. We were both too immature despite our age. But, you cheated way before intercourse came up, man. And you don't see me talking about how I'm "monogamous" online from a relationship I was a d**k in. That was a messed up relationship I should've ended way before it got to that point, but I'm under no illusions about my role in screwing things up. Something to think about.

There's nothing else I can say man. It would seem, I'm just gonna appear to be a douche in this thread. Glad you had a great weekend.

Oh I should have just left, I just lacked the self confidence. No question about that. I also started drinking 20 drinks a day in that time, I was an absolute mess and trying to keep my head above water. I barely drink nowadays. I used up all my drink cards, my kidneys are fucked

It was nice to catch up after all these years. Nothing I said was meant to inflate me, or attack anyone else.

Well, despite everything in this thread... congrats for stopping drinking man. That's a huge accomplishment. Hope your kidneys are all like... noice now.

I take medication to control my kidneys, they are at 70%. Yeah look I think it's the autism but I just woke up one morning and realised this wasn't who I wanted to be. I still have the odd cocktail, I'm not a quivering addict on the verge of relapse
