@pkfox I think that it is, the site has to kind of rebuild an audience, which takes some time. As far as the CCC's? I've never come close, the heat death of the universe would have come about before I guessed 'BARBICAN'. :-)

You are right, it's not really the same atmosphere as the old version. One thing I miss is the expressiveness we had with the emoticons and special icons. (:elephant: || :beer:) It's been so long I've forgotten how to use them!

Ah! I've just found the composer which has quite a bit of functionality, but I can't get the emoticons to work.

We lot a lot of the regulars in the migration. Anyone heard from Jeremy?

That said, there are things about the new place that I like. My visiting patterns have definitely changed since the Great Blackout. I've gotten used to only checking in just a few times a day.

I think the lack of emails when a reply gets posted doesn't help - I'm so used to getting several hundred emails a day from CP that I'm out of the habit of checking in here ...

This UI also sucks, it wastes so much space that navigating the forums feels like a chore.

@OriginalGriff Click on your profile picture (top-right on desktop), click "Settings", and look at the notification settings. There's quite a few things you can tweak if you want to get flooded with emails again. 😊
