I really know your pain. And when the stone get out, it hurts a lot too, and you'll bleed a little, but you'll smile like a child. Ok, everyone will be telling you, but I will repeat one more time: drink water, lots of water. I don't know if it's available where you live, but there's a herb, called "quebra-pedra" (stone-breaker)[^] here in Brazil. It has been scientifically proved to help a lot, specially on smaller stones. My dad had a kidney stone, too, and he escaped surgery because of "quebra-pedra" tea. He drank about 2 liters of tea daily, during a whole week, and the stone got a lot smaller, and it went out without surgery. Acting as a substitute for God, he becomes a dispenser of justice. - Alexandre Dumas

Out of curiousity (and ignorance), how do you end up with a stone in your kidneys? "Garbage" that never got flushed out and have built up during the years? Nevermind, I followed the link and got all the info. :-O -- Let me burn you down.

I can't feel your pain (lots of beer and water have kept me afloat so far), but I heard it's the real pain. The link has the decency of a 32yr old surgeon. "Introduction to the Urinal tract". No mam, I don#t wanna go there...
