How long it usually takes for an article to be published on CP? I mean an article that you email to Chris, got confirmation that it was queued and not the one that you enter through automated submission process. Is it a week, a month, a year? Could it happen that it may never be published? Any experiences, please. Thanks. "...Ability to type is not enough to become a Programmer. Unless you type in VB. But then again you have to type really fast..." Me

It depends if you are one of those that gets paid, or one who has to pay.... Oops, I wasn't supposed to tell.

Usually I try and have articles queued within a couple of days, though lately that's been slipping due to load. Once that is done then anything between mere hours and maybe a week or two depending on the number of articles in the queue and the current state of free time of the editors. They keep mentioning that they have a 'life' or something. I don't get it ;) cheers, Chris Maunder

If it is then Igor and I have spoken at length at how the speed that an article is attended to is directly proportional to the quality of what we are initially given. cheers, Chris Maunder

http://members.cox.net/igor.tebelev/ActiveXDeployer.htm Not that I'm GURU on the subject and in no case I'm pretending to be one, but what is particularly wrong with it? Maybe I need to start writing a book then. No way it will be published, Right?;P "...Ability to type is not enough to become a Programmer. Unless you type in VB. Interesting article. I found it to be very helpful in bridging the need for a tool that enables ActiveX Controls to be downloadable and deployable in the same manner as .net controls. Bravo, Excellent Jeff
