I have loads of really good songs that can make me feel great at almost any time, but only Little Green Bag, by George Baker Selection, gets those endorphins pumping from that unmistakable first beat. What's yours? Does it have a special reason why?

"Saideira" - Skank. It's a brazilian music (you can easily find it on your favorite P2P). "Saideira" is a slang word meaning something like "my last beer tonight". It's kind of a very happy ska music, hear it and you'll feel good, too :)

Pretty much anything by Minor Threat The Bad Brains first two albums on a completely different note, Birds of Fire by Mahavishnu Orchestra! but the two tracks that get the shivers running up my spine (for some reason) are the intros to the tracks 'Voivod' and 'Black City' from Voivod's debut album 'War and Pain'. As the 'All Music Guide' review says, '...about as subtle as being hit by a sledgehammer.', but I like it...turn it up to 11, Bob! Stuart Dootson 'Java, Basic, who cares - it's all a bunch of tree-hugging hippy cr*p'

The counting Crows - HARD CANDY... just because it was the feelgood-song from my latest vacation in California and Las Vegas(honeymoon)... Cruising down good old highway 1 with our large (but rented :(( ) SUV and recognizing, that the greatest person in the world was my wife, which is pregnant right now... Just listening to it right now.... ahhh feeling the breeze fromm the ocean... :)

Something that make you uncontrollably want to jump up and start dancing or moshing. It's hard to choose a favorite but off the top of my head, Gravity Kill - Alive, Rage Against the Machine, White Zombie, Deftones (particularly their Around the Fur album), Pantera, Metallica's old stuff, Godsmack, etc. Oh, and good techno too, like Prodigy - Breathe and stuff like that.:) Brad Jennings Northeast US vacation (Aug. 10)[^] - please give me suggestions.:)

....and on.....and on...and on....;P No, seriously, aren't feel good songs and song's that get your endorphins pumping two different things? For the first one, my current feel good song is The Rising by Bruce Springsteen. For the latter, it's Eye of the Tiger by Survivor. I know it's overplayed, but everytime I hear it again after a long period, it just gets me up and going, with the need to do something streneous. Of course then I regain my senses and sit down Nick Seng (the programmer formerly known as Notorious SMC)
