Awhile back I posted a response to one of many cricket posts, saying that some American Football info needs to be posted since all this cricket info was. Well, it's the pre-season, so here it goes. Saturday night the Falcons just lost to GreenBay, 21-27. But, all is not lost. Thankfully the Falcons have a 2nd string QB who looks promising, D. Johnson. Now Vick won't be the main weapon in the Falcon's arsenal. For those of you who know American Footbal well, you'll know that being a Falcons' fan isn't always the best fan to be, but it can be the most rewarding. I'll be posting more Falcons games as they come. I know not many of you care, but hopefully there'll be a few fans out there who want to know

Wow.... Can it really be... Another Falcons fan. I am really looking foward to season. Especially that second to last game against Tampa. If all goes as I think it should, that should be the game of the year. In the NFC at least. But you were right about Doug Johnson though. He does look strong and so does the third string guy, but I forgot his name :~ . The only thing I worry about is the backup line. If we get hurt, we are HURT.

What did you think of Kurt Kittner (former Illini QB)? I think he played a little in that game.

I don't remeber seeing him play, but what I've heard he's pretty good. Hopefully he'll get some practice and become the third great QB on the team.

I went the Falcon's training camp last week Saturday for a little while to take some pictures. I live in Greenville, Sc so it was right here in town. The Chicago Bears training camp is in Bourbonnais, IL which is located about 2 miles from where I work. It's pretty cool to go watch these guys practice. www.bearstrainingcamp.info/[^] Beauty is only a lightswitch away. [EDIT]When I was first married (about 18 years ago) my wife and I had an apartment less than 200 yards from where the practice fields are.[/EDIT]
