? Okay, we all hate microsoft, but I wouldn't mind becoming a microsoft certified solution provider. Seems like a neat title. Any opinion you have on the exams or any idea as to where I can get more information on the exams will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Danielle (an overworked graduate student) :|

We all hate Microsoft? I'd appreciate it if you kept your all-inclusive opinions to yourself. And while you're at it, try hating something that is worth hating, like people who slam airliners into buildings. ___________ Klaus [www.vbbox.com]

Okay, we all hate microsoft I really do think you post this on the wrong website. I don't hate Microsoft, and I think there's a lot of other people in here who doesn't, either. - Anders Money talks, but all mine ever says is "Goodbye!"

On a more productive note, after Klaus's irrational reply, here are some links that I have been using to obtain information and books re: MCSD. Hope they help. - MSPress - http://www.microsoft.com/mspress/certification/ - MCSD Books -http://www.microsoft.com/mspress/certification/mcsd.asp - Training and Services - http://www.microsoft.com/trainingandservices/default.asp If you have any queries then Microsoft actually are really helpful on this topic, they sent me brochures and sample tests and all sorts of things to get started on my MCP (MCSD later on, when I have time :) ). good luck Danielle, they are really good qualifications to have. p.s. I really like Microsoft and yes hate is a very strong word, but heck you probably just said that to stop people from replying with "jeeesh why do you want to support M$ hmmm?" messages. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa "We would accomplish many more things if we did not think of them as impossible." - Chretien Malesherbes

Ok.. I think most people here DO NOT hate Microsoft at all. As for becoming a Microsoft Certified Solutions Provider, that is for companies only, not individual people. I think are you mean a Microsoft Certified Systems Engieer or Microsoft Cerfified Solutions Developer. Goto http://www.microsoft.com/trainingandservices/default.asp for more information. All good replys so far. I think MCSD is a worthwhile goal, at least it was for me. I learned a great deal and continue to push myself, going for MCDBA next. What track were you planning on taking, VB or VC? There are few good sources for the VC exams but of course many more for VB. How much database work have you done? What about COM?

If there are lots of people named "Klau", then and only then would "Klaus'" be correct. If there is one person named "Klaus" then the possessive is "Klaus's". My english isn't that good! :) We've all heard that a million monkeys on a million keyboards would eventually come up with the entire works of Shakespeare - thanks to the Internet, we now know this isn't true...
