                And an improved C# version:

                Dog Spot=new Dog("Bulldog");
                while (Yard.Bounds.Contains(Cat.Location))
                {
                Spot.MoveTowards(Cat.Location);
                }
                Spot.Position= AnimalPosition.Flat;

                      I haven't tried C# yet, but that looks suspiciously like VB.:suss: This version of Spot will probably need a much bigger doghouse, extra yard space, and may even run slower than CCat.

                        It would need a bigger house (more RAM), and it would run slower at first (JIT Compilation), but it would go just as fast once it got up speed. It wouldn't need a bigger yard (HD space), and it would adjust faster to a new home (Win64). It would also be easier to toilet-train (GC vs manual memory management). It would also be less prone to seizures (crashes). It would need to be taken for walks for a shorter time (less development time). Roger Wright wrote: but that looks suspiciously like VB Huh? :confused: :rolleyes: Well if you simply must have those pointers, then you can put the unsafe keyword on the method, and use pointers to your heart's content. (See my upcoming article for an example.)
