Logout script

In an active directory environment with romaing profiles is there an easy way to have a log out script?? My problem is that the Admin accounts get cluttered with 100s of megabytes of stuff that seems to never go away because an admin is always logged in somewhere. You can trim the profile but it will come back when you log back in. This is really driving me nuts... John

There is, in fact, a logout script feature included in Win2k. :omg: I haven't actually used it for much of anything yet, but I plan too. Someday. No really, I'll implement it in my "spare time". Only problem is, don't bother looking for it in the account properties for your users. This one calls for some yummy Group Policy goodness. Wheeeeeee! ;P Try this link on for size. http://www.microsoft.com/technet/treeview/default.asp?url=/technet/columns/tips/2kscript.asp[^]

Thanks John
No problem, let me know how it works. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet myself.

No sweat, I understand. Why do you think I haven't had time to try it either? :-D They just told me the other day that I have to fix a bug in the in-house software app, do a full software audit of our place, build a database to store the audit information, and build an installshield installer for our web app. All by the end of next week. Along with all my admin duties. Now I am just waiting for someone to come by and ask me when the new Exchange server will be ready to deploy. Can we say swimming upstream? :)
