I have a little calculus project I've been working on for a while, and I'm nearly ready to release it. (It's a free web app - no charge.) I'd like to have a few people play with it for a bit first, and see if I've committed any major errors. I'm trying to keep it low profile for the time being - I don't even want to publicly give the URL here. (I'm not trying to blow my horn - I just want a couple of Beta testers.) If you're interested, respond here and I'll email you the URL. Dave R

The info you have given is pretty thin. Can you be more specific about what it does?

I graduated with a degree in math from UCLA. Naturally, I've done NOTHING math-related since 1994... I'd be surprised if I could do a simple integral now. :suss: --Mike-- http://home.inreach.com/mdunn/ Ford: How would you react if I said that I'm not from Guildford after all, but from a small planet somewhere in the vicinity of Betelguese? Arthur: I don't know. Why, do you think it's the sort of thing you're likely to say?

f' is easy f'=e^((ln(x)/sin(acos(x)/x^2))^(1/2)) f" ???? I have no idea. I am a math prof at UCLA though... :-D Zolee

f'' = ((lne)*((0.5*((((1/x)*(sin((arccosx)/(x^2))))-((lnx)*(((((-1/(sqrt(1-(x^2))))*(x^2))-((arccosx)*(2*x)))/(x^4))*(cos((arccosx)/(x^2))))))/((sin((arccosx)/(x^2)))^2)))*(((lnx)/(sin((arccosx)/(x^2))))^-0.5)))*(e^(((lnx)/(sin((arccosx)/(x^2))))^0.5)) it needs a bit of simplification yet. Am I the only one here who hasn't got the faintest clue what any of you are talking about? I think I can just about remember Protaganists Theorum.
