I would expect, at 0K, and 0 pressure to find nothing. But at that temperature the is no motion, hence no pressure, even if the atoms are packed like quantum sardines. I'm not sure what you'd call it. Primal lump?

The standards functions have been moved to Standards Australia International, but all I can locate are technical bulletins amending the Standards. If you have access to them, look for the definition of Quality. The general gas equation is PV=kT, and I'd bet there's a correlation between the quality of gas and the constant, k, in the general equation. I'm working from memory here, can't locate any of my chemistry books at the moment, but check into it. Note to students: Don't ever sell or lend your textbooks, even for classes you hate. You'll regret it later!

Is anyone knows how to create class to calculate Net volumes from Pressure, Temerature and Quality data according to the AGA(AGA-3, AGA-5 and AGA-8) standards?

Man do I miss my Chemical Enginering classes....:( I was one year away from my bachelors degree when I started programming and change my major to Computer Science. I always regret not finishing it. Maybe I will go back an finish, but my life is to busy right now. Anyway, being at work I can't pull my books out, so I will check when I get home.

Juan Carlos Cobas wrote: PV = nRT That's actually the form I remember, but I simplified it. I'm sure there is some constant he can look up in a table related to gas quality factors that can be used in the equation under most normal conditions. It can't be hard - gas stations do it every night when they get a delivery of petrol, even though it's a liquid. Natural gas systems must use something similar, as charges are based on therms - a measure of gas quality used in the US.
