Can any of you recommend any good resources for game programming (books, web sites, advice, etc.)? Thanks, Ray Gregory

Also, try www.gamasutra.com for some higher-level (more abstract, little actual source code) information on game design. If you're looking to get into engine design, I'd recommend David H. Eberly's 3D Game Engine Design. It can be a dry read at times (although most game engine books are ;P), but has some very good information, plus a CD with loads of functional source code. Definitely a good addition to your library.

If you want a good GDK with full source, I'd recommend CDX. http://www.cdxlib.com/ The site is a bit out dated right now, but the latest version is in CVS. I've been using it for a couple of years now and I love it. Programming in binary is as easy as 01 10 11.
