Then again AFAIK you get assigned a server/webfarm or something and thats the server/webfarm you use from then on. So when it is down you don't get routed to another farm. Not sure if they have changed this practice but it was the case a year or two ago. So mine might work while your's does not.

I have been getting rude messages via MSN Messenger from Microsoft demanding that I upgrade immediately. Unfortunately, this is an intentional attack by them to force users to use their software instead of much better alternatives like Trillian, and I refuse to comply. An article I read, or possibly a post here, stated that Oct 15 is the deadline for surrender; maybe they're phasing it in earlier in some locales. I will shortly be abandoning MSN and hope that my friends can find me elsewhere. Your difficulty might be related.

It's not because MS try to lock other products out, they just discontinue an old version of the protocol which actually might be a good idea! - Anders Money talks, but all mine ever says is "Goodbye!" http://SourceLocker.net[^] SourceControl and DefectTracker Project. nsms@spyf.dk <- Spam Collecting ;)

I'm impressed.:-D [EDIT] I just checked - no update. Mine is the latest, and I'm still getting harrassed by MSN daily. I guess I have to install the MSN crud and disable it to get the protocol update. [/EDIT]
