        A quick look in Explorer: Local Disk ( C: ) DVD Drive ( D: ) CD Drive ( E: ) Data ( F: ) Local Disk ( G: ) Removable Disk ( H: ) Removable Disk ( S: ) Inetpub ( W: ) - mapped network drive to my webserver So I've only named one of them, and that's "Data" :-) Boring, huh? -- Ian Darling "The moral of the story is that with a contrived example, you can prove anything." - Joel Spolsky

                                  You can name partitions in Linux IIRC. The reason was to make the mount table disk independent so that you could swap disk position (hda2 instead of hda1) and it would still mount correctly. -- You still have your old friend Zoidberg. You all have Zoidberg!
