      Just saw the sneak peek on CNN. Thought I saw Neo walking through the middle of a bunch of agent Smiths again. I sure hope that stupid seen is not revisited in the last installment. Loved the first one, hated the second one, would be nice to come out of the theater after this one and at least think it was OK.. Afraid it is going to be like the previous garbage. Rocky Moore <><

      I think that people making The Matrix lost their minds: 1. Seeing a long, long scene of people dancing is not a good way to start a movie. 2. Neo is not Superman. 3. Neo is not The Flash. 4. Cheap philosophy is plain boring. ("Is this the reality? Or is this what I dream to be the reality? And what if I am awake, but dreaming about a dream where I am awake thinking about reality? Will it still be reality?") 5. Interrupting a movie in the half of the story and saying "hey, wait 1 year and we'll tell you the rest of the story" sucks. Specially when it seems that the 20 minutes of history was stretched to fit in 3 hours of movie.

          I thought the action sequences were cool, but the rest of it was just filler. There was no story to it, just a bunch of "deep" conversations. I believe the term is verbal masturbation: talking just to hear the sound of your own voice.

              Sequels generally suck. Only exception to this rule that I know of is Aliens (Alien 2). Personally I would like a prequal to the Matrix, and I thought the Animatrix was interesting overall.

              Yeah, I would welcome a prequal also! As long as it is not like Star Wars.. There was no way they could win on the sequel, too many people thought the first one was so good that no movie could live up to the expectations! Likes both Alien and Aliens, but the third one really stunk! Saw a more extended trailer and there was a two very long rows of agent Smith again.... That is about enough not to see it on its own ;) Still will probably waste the money to see it though. Hope I don't feel like walking out on this version. Rocky Moore <><

                    Great movie, but I was watching it the other day and I got a little pissed when Ripley rescues the girl and on the way out decides to torch the queen's nest. I mean, the whole place is about to go up in smoke anyway, why couldn't she just get the f*ck out? I guess she didn't expect the queen would get really pissed off and come after her, which, BTW, made for some great action. But I was still frustrated that she had to stop and get revenge instead of doing the right thing and avoid the whole confrontation. I suppose if everyone always did the right thing in movies, they'd be boring as hell. :-) Regards, Alvaro

                        You noticed that too, ha? Here are some possible explanations, hopefully Smitha can enligthen us:

                        1. His wife/girlfriend/lover also reads Smitha's posts and shows her love by always rating him a 5.
                        2. His best friend also reads Smitha's posts and shows his friendship by always rating him a 5.
                        3. Smitha has another computer and logs in to CP under a different account, which he uses as a convenient way to rate himself a 5. He does this because he,
                          1. likes to locate his own messages quickly, since they're (usually) red;
                          2. is afraid someone will rate him down, so he rates himself up to compensate;
                          3. thinks very highly of himself -- everything he says is worthy of a 5;
                          4. thinks very lowly of himself and needs a 5 to feel a better;
                          5. feels that unless his messages are rated high, no one will bother to read them;
                          6. feels that rating his messages high will cause people to read them before the rest; or
                          7. loves the color red and wants to spread it around.

                        That's all I could come up with. :-) What's the scoop Smitha? Regards, Alvaro

                                          Sequels generally suck. Only exception to this rule that I know of is Aliens (Alien 2). Personally I would like a prequal to the Matrix, and I thought the Animatrix was interesting overall.
