What's up with CP and Mozilla/Firebird support? I know this has been mentioned before but I haven't seen any official response... I get the following problems with Firebird - they started a week or so ago: * No list of emoticons (though there is a link so perhaps this is intentional. I did like the list though!). * No Preview button. * When you reply to a post, the original is displayed using a yucky mono-spaced font. Forgive me if these changes have already been explained, but the lack of Preview button is doing my head in! :|

I've recently upgraded the way in which we determine what type of browser is viewing CodeProject. This seems to have caused Firebird to be mis-identified so I've ask Uwe to help out in identifying the problem and I should have a fix soon. cheers, Chris Maunder

I've used mozilla with CP for over a year an I have no complaints except that sometimes I've seen links in articles using backslashes instead of slashes and that brokes the link or the image... as an example see the BipBuffer article in mozilla. Maybe could be a recomendation in the guidelines for authors... eperales

You're the second person to mention that. Can you send me a screenshot of what you see? Dave is fully aware that if he touches my icon he'll get something very, very inappropriate in place of his :D [Edit: never mind the screenshot. Offending piece of code identified and give a stern talking to] cheers, Chris Maunder

if he touches my icon Wow! So that's what you guys do all day! And here I thought it was something to do with ASP, .NOT, or new fangled Microsoftie thing. I stand corrected. ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! Real Mentats use only 100% pure, unfooled around with Sapho Juice(tm)! SELECT * FROM User WHERE Clue > 0 0 rows returned

What's up with the submission wizard? I always edited my few articles with Mozilla, because Mozilla does not even try to load the "never get what you see" editor. Last sunday Mozilla had been blocked, I had to use IE. what is the reason for banning Mozilla?

We're not banning Mozilla - Mozilla simply doesn't support the features that IE supports. No matter how much we all bash IE, it actually does offer more advanced features that can make the browsing experience that much more comfortable. OK, apart from popups. And crashes. And locking up. And stuff. cheers, Chris Maunder
