    Does anybody know of one that you can download things with. I got this idea, that if i download the wap stuff using that, then transfered it to my phone, i can get the free wap downloads without the cost of the connection :suss:

          :doh: You might want to try Opera too. I think it supports WAP browsing.

            Yes it does, just tried site http://wap.revoworld.com[^] using Opera 7.20 and it works fine.

                If it is a nokia you have, here is a few tips I follow (you will need an infrared port): 1. For backgrounds > Right-Click > Save As... > Nokia Image COnverter 2. For games > Google > Nokia Application Installer 3. For ringtones > http://www.polyphonicringtonez.com[^] > Find the Id of the tone you want > Bite the bullet and connect to WAP for like the 15 seconds it takes to get the ring tone Although on telstra in australia it is 2cents per kilobyte ($20 a megabyte!!!!) which makes getting even the smallest ringtones fairly expensive. but if your mobile company charges WAP by the second then it won't cost that much. On that issue, does anybody know if it is possible to use a different WAP ISP than your Mobile carrier provides, like can I use telstra for voice calls and vodafone for WAP? Chris.

                  costs me 1p per kb, I just wanted to see if i could get around that charge too :-D
